Need Help Finding Health Insurance?

Missouri Health InsuranceThere are several reasons you might be without health insurance. You could be self-employed, a small business owner, losing COBRA benefits, changing jobs or a college student.

We offer traditional permanent policies for those who need medical coverage for an indefinite period of time.  Our carriers also provide short term insurance and student coverage for those who only need a policy for a short period of time. If you are unsure how long you might need medical coverage, then it is prudent to purchase permanent coverage that can be discontinued at a later date.

With our guidance, purchasing a plan in Missouri is quick and easy.  We provide direct links to our carriers for those who wish to quote on their own.  We will be happy to discuss your health insurance needs if you would like us to walk you through your options online.

MO Group and Business Health Insurance

We provide small business and large group insurance from several carriers. We will use your company census to inquire about rates from several well known providers. All providers offer large in-state and out of state networks should your employees travel extensively or if you are providing benefits for satellite offices outside of Missouri.

We can also quote ancillary benefits such as dental, vision, life, disability, and long term care coverage.  Our offerings can be self paid voluntary plans or those that are employer sponsored. Request a group quote here.

Missouri Maternity Insurance

If you are in need of maternity insurance, there are viable options available to you. Not all carriers offer coverage toward a pregnancy and most will have a short waiting period to conceive. It is important to note, that no insurance company will offer coverage if you are already pregnant, so you must plan ahead.

Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Assurant Health are both popular, but differ in their deductible structures as well as their waiting periods. It is wise to speak with an agent in order to understand the differences between all plans.

Health Savings Accounts - HSA Plans

Recently legislation was passed approving tax-favored savings accounts that can be coupled with a high deductible health policy. These plans are referred to as Health Savings Accounts or HSA’s. They are gaining in popularity due to their tax advantages and flexibility.

Money deposited in a HSA can be deducted from your income taxes.  In 2009, an individual can deposit and deduct up to $3,000 while a family will have a limit of $5,950.  Deposits grow tax-deferred and gain interest based on current savings rates or the performance of chosen investments.

When needed, funds can be withdrawn tax-free for qualified medical expenses - expenses such as reaching a deductible or coinsurance amount, dental/vision bills, or prescription costs for example.  Unused funds remain in the account year after year for future medical expenses and always belong to the insured - even after the policy is cancelled.  All of our carriers offer competitive HSA plans.
